Memberships

The Companionship of the Sacred Vine Inc. (CSV) is a congregation of individuals who gather in community to celebrate the sacred rituals of the Axeti Nete religion. This Shipibo religion is one of the oldest spiritual practice on earth, predating written history and having evolutionary and biological roots.

Our rituals include the ingestion of the Amazonian ayahuasca brew, a combination of two plants – Banisteriopsis caapi (Ayahuasca vine) and Psychotria viridis (Chacruna). We do not use any other psychotropic substances at CSV ceremonies such as Cannabis, alcohol, caffeine or other stimulants.

In order to become a member of the Companionship of the Sacred Vine all applicants must agree to uphold our shared values and beliefs. In order to attend CSV ceremonies, members must be registered members in good standing within the CSV organization, fill out a health questionnaire and liability exemption and conduct themselves according to CSV guidelines.

A key tenet of the Axeti Nete religion as practiced by the CSV is that, with proper preparation and devotion, members can participate in the sacred ritual ingestion of ayahuasca to achieve communion with the spirit world(s) for healing, knowledge and to experience a state of grace and spiritual healing which is of social benefit not only for the participant but also of benefit to the families and the broader communities to which the member belongs.

A one-year membership in the CSV is $100 CAN.
